Todorov’s Theory Todorov’s theory is all about a common narrative structure in all films with 5 main structure points, the first point is equilibrium, and the second point is dis-equilibrium this is often caused by the main villain in the narrative, and the third recognition this is where there is recognition that dis-equilibrium has happened, the fourth is reparation this is where there is attempt to repair dis-equilibrium that has happened and the final point is the resolution where equilibrium into a new equilibrium.
